Our Message
DT Apparel is a clothing brand that inspires people to chase their dreams. Our slogan is “Rise Up, Take Courage, Do It” inspired by the bible verse Ezra 10:4. Our Message challenges people to be bold in whatever they do and chase their goals relentlessly. Whether it’s something small in your everyday life or it’s your lifelong dream. Take that leap of faith and pursue what you’re passionate about. Remember don’t be afraid to dream big!

Founders
DT Apparel was founded by Dmitri Thompson and Dwight Thompson. The Thompson Brothers are 2 years apart, but have been extremely close their entire lives. They were born in Newburgh, New York and moved to Orlando, Florida in 2001. Growing up they played multiple sports but the one sport they fell in love with was the game of basketball. The Thompson brothers attended Orlando Christian Prep during high school and won multiple state titles. Dmitri went on and played Division 1 basketball at Elon University and Dwight went on to focus on his academics at the University of Central Florida. The brothers both loved the game of basketball, but when it came to college they took different paths. They both focused on the task at hand and pushed forward.

After graduating from their respective colleges the brothers decided to collaborate and start something that was meaningful and that would make an impact. They wanted to make a donation to the Boys & Girls Club, since they were a part of the program in their youth and worked for the program as adults. The brothers realized selling shirts would be a simple way to raise money. The money made for the donation ending up being a lot more than they had imagined and they took it as a sign. Shortly after they made their donation to the Boys & Girls Club they decided to launch DT Apparel, with the message "Rise Up, Take Courage, Do It.” Dmitri is now a professional basketball player overseas and Dwight is his manager.
